Terms of service

These terms cover your use of thewebstreams.com and set out the basis on which we quote and deliver work. They are not a substitute for the individual proposal or agreement we sign for a specific project — where the two differ, the signed project agreement controls.

Using this website

You may browse and share this site freely. You may not copy, republish, or resell its design, code, copy, or images without our written permission.

Enquiries and quotes

Submitting a form does not create a contract. Prices shown on the packages page are indicative starting points; the figure in your written proposal is the one that applies. A project begins once a proposal is accepted in writing and any agreed deposit is received.

Client responsibilities

Projects depend on you supplying content, brand assets, feedback, and access to accounts (domain, hosting, analytics) in reasonable time. Delays in providing these move the timeline accordingly.

Revisions and scope

Each proposal states the number of revision rounds included. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before it starts.

Ownership

On final payment, you own the finished website files, design deliverables, and brand assets we produce for you. We retain ownership of our internal tools, frameworks, and any third-party components, which remain under their own licences. Unless you ask otherwise, we may show the finished work in our portfolio.

Third-party services

Projects often rely on services we do not control — hosting, domain registrars, plugins, payment providers, app stores. We will recommend and configure them, but we are not responsible for their outages, pricing changes, or policy decisions.

What we do not guarantee

We do not guarantee search rankings, traffic volumes, lead counts, or revenue. Search engines and advertising platforms control their own results. We commit to sound technical work and clear reporting, not to outcomes outside our control.

Payment

Invoices are due on the terms stated in your proposal. Work may pause on overdue accounts.

Cancellation

Either side may end a project in writing. You pay for work completed up to that point; we hand over what has been produced.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any project is limited to the fees you have paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States.
